There is direct and indirect effects of leadership on student learning , improving leadership is a key to the successful implementation of reform. By providing the necessary support and training , development of teachers and students takes place .Leaders , need to think about and plan their work so that the majority of their efforts have the consequences they wish for their teachers and students. School leaders are in a position to stimulate improvements leading to improved student learning.
School leaders along with staff can review and improve teaching, class observations and subsequent feedbacks, assessment results are used as indicators for improvement of school quality thereby influencing student learning.
We have to set ourselves as role model for every small gesture and activity, Punctuality, Sober dress up, there should not be difference between words and deeds etc

DeleteSchool leadership plays an important role in the life of each student dealing with on a daily basis. The most basic form of good communication as a patient listener , creating a conducive environment on the learning platform , and working on their personality development. To instill confidence and self esteem and focusing on mental health during crisis also helps the students to face the challenges and cross over their hurdles.

As a teacher, I will upgrade myself , so that it will have positive effect on student learning. As a teacher leader, it is our moral responsibility to cater to the young minds in our care. We should have the ability to change the attitude of the students and bring positive behavioural changes in their minds which will later be helpful to the society. Teachers should provide the students with opportunities to think logically, be leaders themselves. At the same time teachers as leaders should be empathetic and understand the problems of her students. She should be supportive and also take the parents into confidence.

ReplyDeleteSchool leader/teacher leader should be a role model for the students. For this he/she must keep himself/herself updated. They can inspire students for self development by creating a friendly environment in the school where students are free to come up with their own ideas and visions. This will help them in developing tolerance and compassion, gives them the courage to face the challenges (like the present situation). Under good leadership, the students get constant support which enhances their learning outcomes.
Create small groups among students, instill the process of leadership by turn. Keep regrouping so that the process benefits all the students.
